Ronald Koeman is feeling positive about the Netherlands ahead of the World Cup, believing they’re as good as anyone except Brazil.
Oranje head into the tournament as one of the most in-form teams and have all of their key players fit and healthy for it as it stands.
Given that, there’s a lot of optimism regarding the side’s chances, although they’re not the favourites with that tag going to Brazil.
Koeman, who will replace Louis van Gaal as Netherlands manager after the World Cup, does indeed think the South Americans will win it.
“If you had to name a favourite, Brazil is perhaps the biggest favourite. They could just invite eighty great players,” he told NH.
That being said, he thinks his country are as good as anyone else.
“I think there is very little difference between Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Argentina,” he added.
