Ronald Koeman: “The system we played tonight is my preferred system.”

Speaking to Movistar after Barcelona’s 1-0 win away to Huesca, Ronald Koeman discussed his side’s performance.

“It was a very important result tonight. We always want to play and create chances. We had a lot of possession and opportunities to score. Huesca went for it at the end and we had to defend. We find it difficult to defend because we are used to having the ball. We had to defend the result, although they didn’t create plenty of chances either.”

“Frenkie de Jong scored and we need players from midfield to score too, to be able to arrive into the box. We played with three defenders against Valladolid, but this team is capable of changing systems. The system we played tonight is my preferred way to play.”
