Romeo Vermant signed a new long-term deal.
Vermant (19) has been playing for Club Brugge since 2009. He joined in the U7 and made his professional debut in 2021 when Club NXT played in the Belgian second division.
The performances of the academy graduate didn't go unnoticed. Halfway this season he moved to the first team where he debuted in the match against Kortrijk. Last Sunday he provided the assist for Nielsen's second goal against Antwerp. Romeo is the son of former Club player Sven Vermant. Also his grandfather Eric Van Vyve and great grandfather Marcel Van Vyve played for Blauw-Zwart.
Vermant has now put pen to paper, signing a new deal until 2026.
