Inter are still keen on signing Paulo Dybala on a free transfer this summer even though the arrival of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea has put a delay in proceedings.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri will still make an attempt to sign the 28-year-old in addition to Lukaku.

Inter had looked very close to getting a deal over the line for Dybala before the possibility of signing Lukaku on loan from Chelsea became more concrete and their priorities shifted.

However, this never meant that the Nerazzurri had lost interest in signing the Argentine, but only that a move for Lukaku was something that needed to be wrapped up sooner and so it became the focus.

Now, signing Dybala will be tricker than it had appeared a few weeks ago with the number of attackers in Inter’s squad, but once they deal with the exit of Alexis Sanchez they will reassess and plan to reignite their pursuit of the Argentine.
