Big Rom concluded his time at Roma with 21 goals and 4 assists in 47 appearances.

Roma, despite being satisfied with the attacker’s output, did not activate the buy option to make Lukaku’s deal permanent.

In the meantime, another opportunity to play in Serie A came up as a result of Antonio Conte’s imminent move to Napoli.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Conte – who is expected to sign his contract with the Partenopei in the next days – has spoken with Lukaku about the possibility of joining forces in Naples.

Lukaku is currently in pole position to replace Victor Osimhen who in all likelihood will be sold before the end of the summer.

Arsenal are said to be tracking Osimhen.

In addition to Romelu Lukaku, Napoli also like Artem Dovbyk. The Ukrainian scored 24 goals in 36 games for Girona in the Spanish league. He is the alternative to the Belgian striker.
