Roma have yet to pick their next long-term manager.
With Claudio Ranieri set to leave his post as interim head coach at the end of the season, the Giallorossi’s search for his successor is in full swing.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, several candidates are being taken into consideration including Montella, Sarri, Farioli and Pioli.
However, the leading candidate appears to be Gian Piero Gasperini.
The current Atalanta boss is said to be in pole position and Roma’s preferred profile to take over the bench ahead of next year.
Gasperini is also being linked with Juventus and Napoli who may part with their respective managers at the end of the season.
