AC Milan and Barcelona have both contacted the entourage of Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen but are expected to be left disappointed, a report claims.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are looking to strengthen the squad available to Stefano Pioli and that includes replacing the injured Simon Kjaer who will be out until the end of the season, and MilanNews reported that Christensen of Chelsea is one of the targets they are considering.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Andreas Christensen has been approached again by Barcelona – who want to sign him as a free agent in June 2022 – and by Milan wjo are eyeing the Dane in January to replace Kjaer.

However, the journalist adds that both clubs feel the 25-year-old will extend his contract with Chelsea in the next few days or weeks. Chelsea have everything ready and are just waiting for Andreas to sign, Romano claims.
