Juventus track potential costs for loan transfer of Manchester United striker Anthony Martial

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are keeping track of the potential costs involved in facilitating a loan transfer for Manchester United striker Anthony Martial. He has attracted attention from multiple clubs, so an exit could be on the cards in the remaining days of the January window.

Juve are interested in signing Martial, but they have not contacted the Red Devils to enquire about the possibility of a loan move. The former are keeping tabs on the financials involved, such as the salary and the loan fee, regarding the potential temporary transfer this month.

Spanish clubs like Barcelona and Sevilla are also in the fray, but their interest is dependent on the final stance that Man United will take relating to the terms involved. The Frenchman has already expressed that he wants to leave Old Trafford, so it remains to be seen if any of these clubs would be his next destination.

Martial Man Utd exit soon?

Since the winter transfer window will close down soon, we have to find a solution and resolve the matter as soon as possible. The English club has demanded the entire wages to be covered while asking for a loan fee in the process.

That is certainly a strong stance to take for a striker that is clearly not in his best form. But then again, his potential suitors would know it isn’t the easiest thing to see through a transfer in January, and the more desperate they are for Martial, the better for United.

The ex-AS Monaco man isn’t doing himself any favours with Rangnick either, with the two recently clashing about the player’s alleged unwillingness to feature against Aston Villa. The latter did say the issue was resolved, but it is never a good idea to keep hold of him in the current circumstances. It is not like we would miss the contributions from his displays as he has struggled to earn game time this season.

It would have been best for us if someone agreed to take the Red Devils forward off our wage bill completely while providing us with a decent loan sum for his services. But if it does not go that way, it’s not a bad idea either to budge on our stance a little bit. After all, it would still be a good chunk taken off our wage bills for a few months.

The thing with potentially loaning him out would be that the Martial saga would then require attention in the summer once again. Do we keep him then, or finally decide to sell him? For the player, a short-term move away from Old Trafford to another big club could do him a world of good.

The French national team manager would be watching his performances with the Qatar World Cup inching closer by the day. He will certainly do his chances no good by warming the benches at Old Trafford. Time will tell us what lies in store for him as the transfer window edges closer to getting closed down.
