In perhaps one of the more stranger stories you might read today, Roman Abramovich has reportedly been ‘begging pals’ to lend him some money.

Of course, when you are sanctioned in many countries in the world it means your assets are frozen and you have no means of pay for anything, even if you are a multi-billionaire like Abramovich.

And Page Six go as far as to claim that things have got so bad for him that he has now been asking his Hollywood and US power broker friends to each lend him $1 million to keep him afloat and pay his staff.

They claim that Abramovich is desperately asking for loans from his prominent and powerful friends to maintain his whispered $750,000-a-week staff payroll.

Some of his close friends in Hollywood, Wall Street and the tech world, though are reportedly wary about lending him money, even as he takes part in the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
