The tension surrounding Roma continues to escalate in the wake of a couple of terrible results.
Last Sunday, Eusebio Di Francescoās side were held to a 3-3 draw by Atalanta and in mid-week their players were heckled by supporters at the train station on their way to Florence.
Aleksandar Kolarov and Kostas Manolas reacted particularly angrily to the abuse but just 24 hours later, the Giallorossi were dumped out of the Coppa Italia in a shocking 7-1 thrashing at the hands of Fiorentina.
This time, in an attempt to avoid another confrontation with their fans, the players travelled home by bus but they were met by a group of ultras at the Trigoria training ground who pelted the coach with bricks, eggs and bottles.
And now insulting graffiti has appeared on the walls outside Kolarovās house.
āKolarov, get off your high horseā read one message and āKolarov is a Croatian shitā read the other.
Problem is, the left-back is Serbian, not Croatian.
Roma host Milan at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening and if they donāt win, things could get very ugly.
