According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Champions League qualification will be crucial for the club’s strategy on the market in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Qualifying for the Champions League can bring a big change to Roma, argues the newspaper.

In the current squad there are several players who arrived on loan (7) and of these few have given guarantees in terms of output and performances.

If Daniele De Rossi’s team manages to return to the Champions League, the club has decided to cut back on loans and start buying more players.

In particular, the Giallorossi would not like to have more than 2 or 3 players on loan. For the rest, the squad will be made up of players completely owned by Roma.
