Roma to miss out on Cesc Fabregas, set for Como stay | OneFootball

Serie A side Roma – like multiple other Italian sides, are looking for a new manager and they are now set to miss out on Cesc Fabregas.

Corriere dello Sport have reported that Fabregas doesn’t want to force through an exit from Como and doesn’t want his contract torn up either. He is keen on staying at the club beyond this season.

There is quite a bit of trust between the Spaniard and the Indonesian owners at Como. Only a call from Inter will make Fabregas budge and Roma are now well aware of this and will have to focus on other names.

Market operators believe that the Giallorossi can make a final attempt for Fabregas but that is likely to end in failure. Quick denials have also arrived, when Roma got linked with moves for Nuno Espirito Santo and ex-Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, whose agent denied all the speculation.
