Roma to evaluate offers for Veretout in the summer
RomaPress
Jordan Veretout’s contract renewal with the Giallorossi has been put on hold by the club, reports Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper claims that the Friedkins have instructed Pinto to slow down talks over the Frenchman’s new contract at the club. His current one is set to expire in 2024.
Roma will evaluate incoming offers for the 28-year-old midfielder once the season comes to an end.
The Friedkins do not consider Veretout a key element for Roma’s current project and thus a potential exit in the summer is not to be excluded at this point in time.
