Marseille have agreed to a deal for Ismael Kone of Watford who was also being followed by Roma.
The Canadian midfielder was heavily linked with the Giallorossi in recent weeks.
Kone was named as a potential reinforcement for Daniele De Rossi’s midfield.
However, the player is destined to move to France instead, where Roberto De Zerbi is waiting for him at Marseille.
As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Kone will be joining Marseille for €12.5 million plus add-ons from Watford.
The 22-year-old will sign a 5-year deal with the French giants.
