Roma have completed the loan signing of Brighton forward Evan Ferguson.
The Republic of Ireland international joins on a deal which includes an option to buy him permanently.
The Giallorossi will pay an initial €3m loan fee and can secure his services long term for €40m next summer.
Ferguson scored 17 times across 80 appearances for the Seagulls after arriving from Bohemians in January 2021, becoming an established first-team figure.
But the 20-year-old spent the second half of the previous campaign on loan with Premier League counterparts West Ham, where he was restricted to just eight outings overall.
The Giallorossi kick off their Serie A campaign at home to Bologna on 23 August.
