Roma are looking to bring in a new striker after Romelu Lukaku’s departure from the club.
While looking at Alexander Sorloth of Villareal, Roma are also keeping alive the trail that leads to Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri.
According to Elsevillista.com, the Moroccan striker has rejected lucrative offers from Fenerbahce and Al-Qadsiah, and a meeting with Roma is expected soon.
En-Nesyri, currently under contract with Sevilla until 2025, is considered a second choice compared to Sorloth, but a transfer to the capital cannot be ruled out.
The negotiation for Sorloth remains a priority, but Villarreal must reduce their financial demands to allow the deal to be concluded.
With the transfer market still open, Roma hopes to conclude these operations soon to strengthen the offensive department.
