Roma sack manager Daniele de Rossi | OneFootball

Serie A side Roma have confirmed that they have sacked Daniele de Rossi from his managerial role at the club.

The announcement has come out of nowhere and will come as shock to many, despite Roma’s poor run in the Serie A. They are currently winless and De Rossi has been relieved of his duties as managers abruptly.

The club have stated that they want to rescue the season as quickly as possible and that is why the decision has been made rather early in the season, where they spent a significant amount in the summer to sign some key players and to improve their squad.

This comes after there was talk of the fact that De Rossi didn’t have the best of relations with the higher-ups and his relationship with Florent Ghisolfi was also not the best. It remains to be seen if this was a reason but speculation had suggested that this was going on behind the scenes.
