Ivan Juric’s points-per-game average at Roma was just 1,25, the lowest among the coaches that led Roma in the last 20 years.
Roma confirmed Juric’s sacking on Sunday afternoon, less than an hour after a 3-2 home loss against Bologna.
Juric had replaced Daniele De Rossi in mid-September and remained in charge for just 12 games.
The 49-year-old won just four games across all competitions, drawing three and losing five. Roma scored 15 goals and conceded 17 during the Croatian tactician’s tenure.

A 5-1 away defeat at Fiorentina earlier this month was probably the lowest point of Juric’s era and led to ‘heavy’ arguments in the dressing room between the coach and some players.
His predecessor, De Rossi, who had replaced José Mourinho in January, left the Olimpico with 14 victories in 30 matches, nine draws and seven defeats. His Roma side scored 50 goals and conceded 35. De Rossi’s average points per game was 1,70, just like Mourinho’s.
The Special One spent two and a half years at the Olimpico, winning 68 games from 138. He also collected 30 draws and 40 defeats, scoring 215 goals and conceding 147. The Portuguese won the UEFA Conference League in 2022 and reached the Europa League Final in the following campaign.
Roma are now just four points above the relegation zone in Serie A with 13 points in 12 matches.
