Roma resume excavations in Pietralata under police escort

New developments on the new Roma Stadium in Pietralata.

Yesterday a group of protesters blocked the entrance of the truck that was supposed to carry out the archaeological surveys preparatory to the start of the construction site.

Despite the postponement, the Campidoglio was clear: “The construction of the new stadium will go ahead”.

In fact, according to SiamoLaRoma.it, this morning the Roma truck entered the archaeological survey site escorted by the police.

This was also confirmed by the police forces present on site, who escorted the truck with three vans.

The truck was carrying the barriers that are used to delimit the area where the core sampling will be carried out.
