“Pellegrini told me he will sign his renewal in the next days,” said Jose Mourinho following last night’s win vs CSKA Sofia.
The Roma captain, whose contract expires next summer, has been in talks with the club over a contract extension for the past months.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, this coming week could prove decisive. Tiago Pinto has scheduled a new meeting with the player’s entourage after the away game against Hellas Verona on Sunday.
The General Manager and the club are optimistic about the outcome of the talks as Pellegrini has made it clear that he wants to stay in the capital.
Roma want to renew him until 2026 without any release clause in his new contract.
