Roma open Man Utd talks for veteran Matic

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is a target for Roma.

New Roma coach Jose Mourinho is keen on a reunuion with the Serb, having worked with Matic at both United and Chelsea.

Sportitalia says Roma have already contacted United to ask about the 32-year-old's availability. The Serbian veteran has a contract until 2023.

Mourinho also has been linked with Matic's United teammate Juan Mata.

Unlike Matic, Mata comes off contract at the end of this season.
