Roma have registered not one but two Europa League records on Thursday.
The first arrived via Edoardo Bove’s stunning curler after just 43 seconds into the clash.
It was the fastest ever scored in the competition by the capital club, beating out Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal that registered at 57 seconds back in 2020.
Then, Romelu Lukaku turned up.
The Belgian striker wasted no time to get himself on the team sheet firing his side two ahead before the 20th minute with a vintage Lukaku goal on the counter.
The strike sees him extend his ridiculous Europa League scoring record, having now found the back of the net in 14 straight games in the competition (18 goals)!
