Il Tempo (Biafora & Zotti) – A swirl of names are in the hands of Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi as agents from half of Europe have been unleashed in proposing left footed attackers to him. After the exchange with Inter for Politano fell through – Fonseca has ruled out any sort of relaunch, “We will not make another attempt for him, we are looking for others” – Petrachi’s mobile has been inundated with calls and messages from agents.

At Trigoria, the deal for Ibañez must still be formalised (the contracts are still not signed) and the negotiations concerning a young midfielder and left back have been put on stand-by. Roma are looking for a winger who can play in the same role as Ünder — they even made an inquiry for Juve’s Bernardeschi. The class of 1994 attacker would be open to the capital as a destination, but the potential deal is complex.

Other players such as Shaqiri, Suso, Januzaj and Iago Falque have been offered to Roma, although, the dream is Dani Olmo, who costs €25 million. Shaqiri, though, is the profile most appreciated by Petrachi, who is trying to bring the player on loan with an option to buy — a transfer formula that hasn’t satisfied Liverpool.
