Roma are intent on locking Mile Svilar on a long-term deal as the goal-keeper continues to impress following his ascent in the second half of last season.
The Giallorossi have been incredibly satisfied with Svilar’s emergence as a consistent performer and leader of the team.
His saves continue to prove crucial early on in the new season.
In light of his steady progress, Roma want to secure a new contract for the player.
According to calciomercato.com journalist Daniele Longo, the capital club are nearing an agreement with Svilar’s camp over a contract worth 2 million euros per season.
The new deal is expected to run until 2029.
Only the last details remain to be sorted before the agreement becomes official.
