Roma miss out on Maxim De Cuyper, player moves to Brighton

One of the names being followed by Roma to replace Angelino, in the event of his departure, will no longer be available on the market: Maxim De Cuyper is officially a new Brighton player.

The Belgian left-back born in 2000 has left Club Brugge permanently, signing a contract until June 30, 2030.

The statement from the English club confirms the agreement: “We are delighted to confirm the signing of defender Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge for an undisclosed fee. The twenty-four-year-old has signed a five-year contract and will join his new teammates for the start of summer training.”

De Cuyper was also being followed by the Giallorossi management, who will now have to look at other alternatives for the left flank.
