Roma do not plan on relying on Tammy Abraham for next season.
The English striker is reportedly not considered a long-term option for the capital club.
Abraham’s return from his lengthy absence due to an ACL injury suffered a year ago proved more difficult than expected.
Daniele De Rossi was unable to rely on him consistently in the final stretch of the season and in the few games he played Abraham failed to convince the Italian manager.
Now, Roma are said to be ready to part ways with the 26-year-old.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi are looking for potential suitors for Abraham.
As stated in previous reports, Roma are hoping to draw interest in the Premier League.
Intermediaries are at work to bring in reasonable offers at Roma’s doorstep.
Abraham was linked with a return to the Premier League prior to his knee injury.
At the time, the Englishman was close to joining Aston Villa.
Roma remain hopeful as Abraham’s sale would help fund the Giallorossi’s own transfer market.
