The 57-year-old is joined by another familiar face at Juventus, ex-sporting director Federico Cherubini.
The Bianconeri sacked the Italian tactician in May and finished the season with Paolo Montero in charge before hiring Thiago Motta.
Allegri is among the candidates to replace Ivan Juric at Roma, as the Croatian tactician has been sacked after just 12 games.
