Roma in the mix for Chelsea’s Marc Guiu

Roma are reportedly interested in Chelsea attacker Marc Guiu.

According to Spanish newspaper SPORT, Roma are among the clubs monitoring the player’s situation in London as Guiu has been projected to leave Chelsea this summer.

However, Sunderland, led by former Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi, appears to be the most advanced in the negotiations.

RB Leipzig and Real Sociedad have also expressed interest in the former Barcelona player.

Chelsea, for their part, would prefer to maintain control of the player and closely monitor his development.

For this reason, the London club appears inclined to consider a loan rather than a permanent transfer.

This adds to the list of players being monitored by Frederic Massara to strengthen his attack.
