Roma are in talks with former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino about a move to Italy.

AS says while Paulo Fonseca remains in his job, Roma have sounded out Pochettino about replacing him for next season.

Fonseca is under huge pressure at Roma after their Europa League elimination and with the club now under new owners.

The Friedkin Group have plans to appoint their own man for next season and it's suggested Fonseca's future hinges on Pochettino's decision.

Should the Argentine turn down Roma's offer, then Friedkin will be prepared to stick with Fonseca for next season.
