The Spanish newspaper reports that Mingueza is attracting the attention of several clubs thanks to his excellent performances.

With 2 goals and 4 assists in 8 games, the 25-year-old has started the season excellently, making himself stand out in the Spanish league.

Despite his good performances with Celta, his future remains a mystery.

Barcelona, which still holds 50% of the player’s resale, maintains a strong interest in his fate, and has the right of first refusal on his possible sale.

In the past, there have been some disagreements between the two clubs over this clause: Barça had initially stated that they had a buy-back option, but Celta Vigo has always denied this version, specifying that Catalan side can buy the defender for half his market value in the event of a sale, but without any obligation to purchase immediately.

Mingueza’s contract with Celta expires in 2026, and the Galician club is working on a renewal plan that includes increasing his release clause, currently set at 20 million euros.

Celta’s goal is to obtain full ownership of Mingueza, preventing Barcelona from exercising any future rights over the player.

Roma is one of the teams most interested in the Spanish defender.

During the last transfer window, the Giallorossi had tested the waters for the signing Mingueza, but had not gone as far as covering the amount of the release clause.

Borussia Dortmund had also shown interest, but Roma’s seem to be the most concrete option for the Spaniard.
