Roma are reportedly looking at Matías Soulé as the future heir to Paulo Dybala given the 31-year-old’s uncertain future in the Italian capital.

Much has been said about Paulo Dybala’s busy summer: the player is only one year away from the expiry of his contract and the release clause in his present may be activated by any club outside of Italy.

Roma and Dybala have yet to meet and discuss the possibility of further extending his time in the capital.

As a result, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Giallorossi are also considering other alternatives to Dybala ahead of next season.

With Tommaso Baldanzi already on the team, Roma would be interested in adding a similar young profile to De Rossi’s roster.

The newspaper suggests that Matías Soulé is the ideal candidate for the job – Roma consider him the perfect heir to Dybala, a younger ‘clone’ to the experienced ex-Juve man.

Soulé still belongs to Juventus but after this loan at Frosinone the player may ask for a permanent solution in the coming summer window.
