On Monday afternoon, Roma – led by CEO Pietro Berardi – presented a feasibility study of the Pietralata area for the long-awaited stadium project to Mayor Gualtieri at the Campidoglio.

As reported by Il Messaggero, the capital club will now brace themselves and wait for a response from Gualtieri’s team who will take the necessary time to evaluate the various documentation.

According to the Italian newspaper, the Giallorossi should hear back from Gualtieri within the first few days of January.

The Mayor will then declare the stadium a project of public interest which will consequently be reviewed by regional bodies before receiving the final green light near the end of the month or beginning of February.

As time goes on, Roma will face numerous uncertainties. The only date the club are currently keeping in mind is the year 2027, where Roma hope to celebrate their 100th birthday with a new stadium.
