Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport provides insight into Lorenzo Pellegrini’s difficult situation in the Italian capital.
The Roma skipper continues to be on and off the pitch, mostly starting on the bench for Claudio Ranieri’s side.

This recent stretch of inconsistent playing time mixed with uneven performances appears to have compromised Pellegrini’s time at Roma.
The midfielder is no longer considered essential by Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi in the capital club’s plans.
In fact, the newspaper states that Ghisolfi recently drafted a list of players who Roma will try to keep at all costs in the summer: Pellegrini is not among them.
