After the exit of former CEO Guido Fienga in October, COO Francesco Calvo remained one of the last senior figures still from the club’s previous ownership regime. But no more, as Calvo’s exit from the club is complete now.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, the Italian executive had already handed in his resignation a year ago but stayed on as a consultant to the Friedkins.
Calvo will end his work with the Giallorossi at the end of this month and is expected to return to Juventus.
Calvo originally joined Roma from Barcelona in 2018 after being appointed as Chief Revenue Officer. Less than 24 months later, he was named Chief Operating Officer by former Roma president Jim Pallotta.
