Roma announce January friendly with Al-Shabab in Riyadh | OneFootball

Roma have announced via their official website the scheduling of a January friendly with Saudi club Al-Shabab.

The announcement reads, “Roma will travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to face Al-Shabab FC in a friendly on Wednesday, January 24th.

The match will be held at Al-Awwal Park and will be part of the Riyadh Season’s calendar of events.

Riyadh Season, the club’s Front of Shirt Partner, aims to bring people from all over the world together in the Saudi capital through sport.

Al-Shabab FC is a 75-year-old club that competes in the Roshn Professional League, Saudi Arabia’s top league. Yannick Carrasco, the Belgian international, is among those in the squad.

It will be an opportunity for the Giallorossi to return to Saudi Arabia after more than 40 years.

Kick-off time will be 17:45 CET (19:45 KSA).”
