Roma need a back-up striker and Giacomo Raspadori appears to be on the capital club’s shortlist for January.

Over recent months, Raspadori has had a minimal role in Antonio Conte’s plans at Napoli.

One of the teams to have shown most interest in the ex-Sassuolo striker is in fact Roma.

According Tuttomercatoweb, the Giallorossi are discussing a swap deal with Napoli that would include Lorenzo Pellegrini.

The Roma captain is unlikely to renew (he currently earns 4 million + 1 million in bonuses) and would be one of the first to leave in the January revolution announced by the Friedkins.

Juventus would also like the Azzurri striker in exchange for Danilo but the negotiation is much more complicated for several factors.

Conte likes Pellegrini a lot and considers him a valuable piece for his midfield.
