Daniele De Rossi’s Roma overtook Manchester United in the updated UEFA club co-efficient rankings, which also saw Milan leapfrog Tottenham.
The Giallorossi came into the second leg of their Europa League knockout playoff tie with Feyenoord on equal ground, having picked up a 1-1 draw in the first leg, and the two teams couldn’t be separated across another 120 minutes of football, going to a penalty shootout.
Roma held their nerves in the shootout and ran off 4-2 winners, progressing to the Round of 16 of the Europa League. In the draw, they were paired up with Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton, setting up a tough task in the next stage.

Inter still sit sixth in the rankings, seeing no changes, whilst Milan climbed two spots to 32nd, overtaking Tottenham and Slavia Praha.
There were no other changes for the Italian teams, with Napoli in 15th, Juventus in 17th, Atalanta in 22nd and Lazio in 30th.
