After Edinson Cavani refused to join Boca Juniors, reports out of Argentina claim that they could now go after Martínez in the upcoming transfer window.

Currently, the Colombia international has scored four goals in 14 matches so far in this tournament and is reportedly still open to leaving at the end of the 2021 Guard1anes tournament, despite the fact that he is receiving new opportunities under Santiago Solari.

Martínez is in the third year of his initial five-year contract he signed after joining from Villarreal. His deal will expire in summer 2023.
