The Brazilian has been struggling for confidence this season, having scored just one goal in his previous 12 games in all competitions but he will the relief tonight.

And with that strike, the 22-year-old has levelled with an elite and legendary list of Real players for goals scored in the Champions League.

That was his 16th goal in the tournament, which is the same number as Roberto Carlos, Guti and famous Netflix star David Beckham.

Rodrygo will surely go on to bag many more but it’s already an impressive total.
