Udinese star Rodrigo de Paul has admitted he would like to be coached by Inter manager Antonio Conte one day as part of an interview which appeared in the print edition of today’s Tuttosport.

The versatile Argentine international midfielder has starred for Udinese for a few seasons now and he started the interview by discussing the rumours that always circulate about him during transfer windows.

“It’s been like this for a couple of years now. At the beginning it was difficult, now I manage the situation better, including the teasing of my teammates who come with the newspapers and tell me where I have been sold.

“Between the end of December and January I scored three goals in three decisive games. I think that’s the best way to respond to the rumours about me.”

He then spoke on wanting to be managed by Conte and praised Inter for what they have done so far this season.

“Inter can win the Scudetto, first of all because they have a top manager. Inter will fight for the title until the end but Juventus are used to being where they are so it will not be easy to beat them.

“Certain coaches manage to show you things that you cannot see on your own. It is clear that I would like to be trained by all the top managers.”

Inter are a club de Paul has been linked with on several occasions in the past and there have been several others too and he concluded by admitting he sees himself playing elsewhere in the future with him having several goals he wishes to achieve.

“I will say it calmly, I don’t want to always stay on the same team. I played in Champions League at 19 with Valencia and I want to do it again.

“I want to go to a World Cup and I want to try to win the Copa America which is played in Argentina in June. Then, in the summer, we will talk about everything else.”

This season the 25-year-old has played 20 games across all competitions to date. In 1567 minutes on the park, the former Racing Club player has scored four goals and tallied two assists.
