Pep Guardiola’s players managed to pick up a narrow 2-1 victory over West Ham United last Saturday, which is sure to keep them in high spirits heading into this midweek showdown versus the West Midlands outfit.

The Mancunian giants could set themselves up in a 4-3-3 formation once again, with Guardiola expected to make some changes to his first-team for this game. Rodri, Joao Cancelo and Raheem Sterling might start this match at the expense of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Kyle Walker and Ferran Torres.

Defence

Ederson will operate in goal for Man City after he shipped in one goal versus the Hammers in his last outing. Ruben Dias will once again play alongside John Stones at the heart of Guardiola’s defence.
