Leeds United defender in line to face France, Portugal and Hungary
Robin Koch has been revealed today as the latest Leeds United player to be making their way to this summer's European Championships.
Joachim Löw named Germany's 26-man squad on Wednesday afternoon, with Koch joining Matthias Ginter, Robin Gosens, Christian Gunter, Marcel Halstenberg, Mats Hummels, Lukas Klostermann, Antonio Rudiger and Niklas Sule as the national side's defensive line.
Koch has featured 17 times in Leeds' first season back in the Premier League, playing the opening 11 before a knee injury kept him out of the squad until March. His return against Fulham coincided with a run of 4 wins out of 6, including victories against Man City and Tottenham.
Germany face a tough start to their EURO 2020 journey, after being placed in Group F alongside France, Portugal and Hungary, with all three games set to be played at the Allianz Arena.
Ahead of the tournament, Löw's side will prepare with two friendlies against Denmark and Latvia.
