Inter look set to lower their wage bill with the arrival of Robin Gosens on an initial loan from Atalanta to replace Ivan Perisic in the long-term.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri will be able to lower the net cost of wages in relation to turnover from next season onwards with the German replacing Perisic.
Gosens is set to arrive on loan for the rest of the season, and will then join on a permanent deal in the summer which will see him earn a net of €2.5 million net per season plus add-ons.
This is significantly less than the net of €5 million which Perisic currently earns at Inter, and takes them closer to their goal of getting the wage bill down.
The Nerazzurri’s aim is to bring the wage bill down by 10% relative to turnover compared to where it currently sits.
