Robert Snodgrass has become the latest West ham player to praise Felipe Anderson, labelling him a “terrific talent”.
Anderson – a €45m club-record signing – was written off early on but has since scored five goals in his last six games.
Snodgrass believes the upturn in form has been down to his professionalism behind the scenes, which is not always there in technically gifted players.
“He is always in the gym, trying to do better, trying to learn better English,” Snodgrass told the Evening Standard.
“Sometimes you get lads coming from foreign countries and maybe they do not understand what it takes to play at this level.
“He had a few games that he found a little bit difficult but he battled through it. I am happy for him and long may it continue.
“He is a good lad. It is great to see him scoring goals because he is a terrific talent.”
West Ham will be hoping to make it four wins from four on Saturday as they travel to Fulham.
