Speaking to Associated Press, Bayern Munich and Poland international Robert Lewandowski discussed winning the treble, missing out of the Ballon d’Or due to the pandemic and his future at Bayern.

“I don’t know. I have a contract until 2023 and I never think what’s happening after,” said Lewandowski. “Two-and-a-half years more contract. It’s a lot of time and I know that I can play longer but I’ve got enough time to think about it.”

On winning the treble.. “If you see what we did in this run it is amazing, spectacular, because we won everything we could. This is something special.. All of these awards are the prizes for something special.”

On missing out on the Ballon d’Or.. “It’s not important, because it’s something extra. If I win something, I’m very proud and very happy but I cannot get it. Someone made the decision like that and life goes on.”
