Robert Lewandowski faces an important final four games for Barcelona this season.
The Polish international has been linked with a possible exit from Catalonia in order to release transfer funds.
His current deal runs until 2026, with Barcelona retaining an option to extend for an additional 12 months, if he wants to end his career with La Blaugrana.
However, the picture is complicated, and Barcelona are still paying part of his initial 2022 transfer fee to former side Bayern Munich.
As part of a series of performance related variables, Barcelona will be required to pay the Bundesliga giants €1.25m, if he scores two more goals this season.
Lewandowski is currently on 24 goals in all competitions, and if he breaks the 25-goal mark, that will trigger a call to the Allianz Arena.
His 33 goals in his debut campaign saw Bayern Munich already scoop one of these payments as per the original agreement.
