Robert Lewandowski: Barcelona give me best chance of winning Ballon d'Or

Robert Lewandowski says moving to Barcelona has increased his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or.

The former Bayern Munich striker has made a superb start to his Barca career.

He said while speaking to the Polish media: "Winning the Ballon d'Or? I know that Barcelona is the team where the most players have won the Ballon d'Or.

"I think there is a shorter path to the Ballon d'Or from Barça than from Bayern."

On facing Bayern in the Champions League this month, he added, “The game against Bayern was a big challenge for me. It was impossible for me to stop all these feelings. It was more than a sporting match for me, it was an emotional match."
