Rob Edwards has been sacked by Luton Town after a dreadful first half of the Championship season, the club have confirmed.
The former Wales international has seen his side lose the most games in the division so far this campaign following their relegation from the Premier League, and they sit just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Having defied the odds to get the Kenilworth Road outfit promoted to the top flight courtesy of a memorable play-off final, it has been largely downhill from then on.
He leaves with the club having suffered four consecutive defeats, and with a second successive relegation a looming threat.
