MIAMI – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup kicks off on August 19, as 10 clubs vie to win the second edition of the Confederation’s premier women’s club tournament.

As the start of the tournament nears, we take a look at the teams in Group A, which features Club América Femenil, Orlando Pride, CF Pachuca Femenil, LD Alajuelense, and Chorrillo FC.

Club América Femenil

This will be the second time Club América takes part in the competition, qualifying as the runners-up of the Clausura 2025, as well as being the highest ranked team in the aggregate table that did not finish champion.

Orlando Pride

The reigning NWSL champions will make their debut in the competition. Not only did they win a first league title, but they also finished at the top of the table in the regular season to win the NWSL Shield.

CF Pachuca Femenil

A new Mexican club will represent Liga MX Femenil, with CF Pachuca making its W Champions Cup debut after winning its first league title through the Clausura 2025 crown.

LD Alajuelense

The eight-time champions of Costa Rica make their return to the tournament after being part of the inaugural season. La Liga earned its ticket after adding another star to their crest after winning the Apertura and Clausura 2024.

Chorrillo FC

Panama will have a new representative in the W Champions Cup, with Chorrillo FC earning qualification after winning the Clausura 2024 and Apertura 2025 of the Panamanian league.
