Rival clubs are reportedly angry with Leicester City over their legal action against the Premier League and the English Football League (EFL) after being charged with breaching Profit and Sustainability Rules.

The Foxes are facing a six-point deduction for failing to submit their accounts and have been referred to an independent commission.

The club announced they had launched legal proceedings against the Premier League and the EFL on Friday.

Their move hasn’t pleased other clubs who feel it is a stalling tactic to prevent them from being docked points this season, per the Daily Mail.

The Premier League reportedly wants the matter to be resolved this season, but that will not be possible after the Foxes’ legal action.

Everton have been docked six points due to PSR breaches earlier this season, while Nottingham Forest were also hit with a four-point deduction.

Leicester are now the latest club to face a six-point deduction, but not immediately.

The Foxes were top of the Championship table for much of the season, but a recent wobble has allowed Leeds United to overhaul them.

However, Leicester are level on points with their Yorkshire rivals with a game in hand.
